Photographs of Minors
If your exhibit includes photographs of identifiable people, particularly children, please refer to the Privacy & Consent section below before submitting your entry.
-
The Kilcoy Show respects the privacy of all exhibitors and members of the community.
If your exhibit includes an identifiable person, you are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate permission to display and exhibit that image.
Where an exhibit includes a photograph of a child under 18 years of age who is not your own child, you must obtain permission from the child's parent or legal guardian before entering the exhibit.
Competitors entering photographs of a minor who is not their own child must confirm on the General Entry Form that they have obtained the appropriate permission.
The Society reserves the right to refuse or remove any exhibit where appropriate consent cannot be demonstrated or where privacy concerns are identified.
-
Many competitions require an official entry form in addition to the information contained within the Schedule.
Entry forms are available for general pavilion entries and selected livestock and competition Sections.
Please ensure you use the correct form for your competition.
-
Each competition Section has its own Schedule outlining:
competition classes
eligibility requirements
important dates
judging information
steward contact details
any additional Section rules.
Please refer to your relevant Section Schedule before competing.
-
Judging requirements, class information and competition procedures vary between Sections.
The applicable Section Schedule provides the judging information specific to that competition.
Where required, exhibitors should follow the directions of Chief Stewards and competition officials.
The Chief Steward for each Section is available to answer questions relating to that competition.
-
Exhibit delivery times, presentation requirements, collection arrangements and any Section-specific competition requirements are detailed within the relevant Schedule.
Competitors should carefully review these requirements before Show day to ensure exhibits arrive at the correct location and time.
Requirements vary between Sections. Competitors are responsible for reading the Schedule applicable to the competition they are entering.
-
The Kilcoy Show expects competitors, exhibitors, volunteers, judges and officials to conduct themselves professionally, respectfully and safely at all times.
The full Code of Conduct can be downloaded below.
-
The welfare of animals participating in the Kilcoy Show is a priority.
All exhibitors participating in livestock and animal competitions should read and comply with the Society's Animal Welfare Statement together with any animal-specific competition requirements published within the relevant Schedule.
